Dr. Ford arrived at Brown in March 2022.  He is a psychologist and director of the Counseling and Psychological Services.  Prior to Brown, Dr. Ford worked at Dartmouth College for over 20 years where he was on staff at the Counseling Center serving as a staff psychologist and later as the associate director.  He also served in the Dean of the College’s cabinet as the associate dean for Community Life and Inclusivity.  Dr. Ford also worked at the Maryland Institute College of Art as the associate dean for Health and Wellness.  He received his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
