Connect with health care, mental health support, health promotion and emergency medical services at Brown.

Brown offers a range of resources to support students’ physical, mental and emotional health and well-being. Student Health & Wellness brings together health care, counseling, health promotion and emergency medical services, with additional resources available across the University.

Health & Well-being Services

Provides confidential, patient-centered primary care for Brown students, including urgent and routine care, 24/7 nursing advice, and on-site laboratory, pharmacy and X-ray services.
Offers health education, prevention programs, peer education and individual support to promote student and community well-being.
Provides 24/7 emergency medical response on campus, along with medical transport, event coverage and CPR and first-aid education.

Additional Health & Well-being Resources

In an effort to offer our students the most quickly accessible care, Brown has partnered with TimelyCare, a free teletherapy service which offers students remote counseling with mental health providers licensed throughout the country.
By embedding therapists directly in the medical school, Graduate School and athletics department, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) has been able to increase access to mental health support for all students.
Through collaborative efforts to reduce the harmful impacts of drugs and alcohol and make life-saving tools readily available, we can maintain a safer campus environment and better serve the greater Providence community.
