Matthew Bailey (he/him) is Brown’s ADA/504 Coordinator. He is responsible for ensuring Brown’s compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Matthew coordinates policies relating to persons with disabilities, and serves students, staff, faculty, and community members seeking information about reasonable accommodations, digital and physical accessibility, and the Nondiscrimination and Anti-Harassment complaint process. 

Before joining Brown in 2025, Matthew worked as a civil rights attorney at the Boston office of the United States Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and as a trial attorney at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. 

Matthew earned his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
