Matthew Bailey (he/him) is the ADA/504 Coordinator.  As part of the Office of Equity Compliance and Reporting (OECR), the ADA/504 Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Brown University policies and procedures relating to persons with disabilities. In this role, Matthew serves students, staff, faculty, community members, and University guests who seek information on reasonable accommodations, the discrimination and harassment complaint process, and other accessibility-related matters.

Before Brown, Matthew worked as a civil rights attorney in the Boston regional office of the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR). Prior to OCR, Matthew worked on investigations and as a trial attorney at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and Middlesex (MA) District Attorney’s Office.
