Announcements
Dear Brown Students,
In the aftermath of last night’s tragedy, some students were forced to evacuate quickly and may have left behind personal belongings, including phones, laptops, identification, or other essential items.
If you were present in Barus & Holley last night, or are a Minden resident who no longer has access to personal belongings, please complete this form so we can connect you with support as quickly as possible, including assistance with retrieval, replacement, and travel or logistical needs.
Some students have temporarily lost access to their laptops and may need to borrow one for Winter Break. To support these students, the Office of Information Technology has opened the IT Service Center at 510 Page-Robinson Hall to provide loaner laptops. The center will be open today from 3:30 to 8 p.m., or until loaner laptops are no longer available.
Brown's Mail Services will be open tomorrow, Monday, Dec 15, for normal business hours.
We recognize that some students who need support may not have immediate access to email. If you know someone who was present and may need assistance, please help us reach them and encourage them to complete the form. If they need to contact Campus Life, the Administrator on Call can be reached by calling Brown’s Public Safety non-emergency line at 401-863-3322 and requesting a connection to the AOC.
Our priority is to ensure that every student has what they need during this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to reach out.
With care,
Patricia Poitevien, MD, MSc, FAAP
Vice President for Campus Life
