Brown's Excellence Awards

The Excellence Awards is a competitive program run by University Human Resources. Each year, the Excellence Awards celebrate a small group of individuals and teams for their exceptional contributions to Brown University and the local community in one of eight categories.

    Tanya was selected to be a mentor for the NASPA Wellness and Health Promotion Knowledge Community. This program is designed to connect experienced professionals in the field with professionals seeking more growth and development.

    ELI intends to cultivate, mentor, and seek access for individuals who identify as Black, Hispanic or Latino, Indigenous, Asian, and multiracial to build a pipeline of leaders of color in positions of influence in RI. Members of the 2023/2024 cohort were selected based on their ability to demonstrate a commitment to racial equity and social justice.
