Kristin A. Malloy, Ed.D.
Biography
Kristin Malloy (she/her) serves as the ADA/504 Coordinator at Brown. In this role, Dr. Malloy collaborates with University leaders to manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with ADA compliance and addresses student and employee ADA Appeals and accessibility compliance consultations. She also facilitates initiatives designed to further accessibility at Brown.
Dr. Malloy has been consistently committed to improving student experiences in higher education. She joined Brown from Western Governors University where she served as a Senior Experience Solutions Designer in co-developing academic persistence supports for online students. Dr. Malloy began her career as a clinical social worker focusing on children and family mental health, and has previous experience in resource development and grant writing. Malloy combined her passions for mental health advocacy and compliance in her previous roles with Lone Star College and completed her tenure in 2021, after more than thirteen years of service, with a second Executive Director role in disability and accessibility services.
Dr. Malloy holds a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Sam Houston State University, a master's degree in social work from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University.
