Campus Life Communications executes the priorities of the Office of the Vice President and provides thought partnership and consultation for staff across the Division to guide the alignment of branding and content, provide messaging and editorial support, and encourage community-building and collaboration through internal communications.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Team provides financial direction to the Division of Campus Life. They offer high-level support in the areas of budget planning and analysis, financial operations and student employment support. The team works to provide excellent customer service while adhering to University policy and procedures and being responsible stewards of University funding.

The Campus Life Human Resources Team provides thought partnership and guidance on operational and business processes related to human resources for divisional staff. They serve as a resource to problem solve and are the link between staff and managers in the Division and University Human Resources. Their aim is to support Campus Life staff in ways that feel personal and specific while supporting the overall mission of the Division.

The Department of Parent and Family Engagement provides support and resources for parents and families as they navigate the University experience while empowering students to be increasingly independent curators of their own educational experience. Through education (Parent and Family webinar series), communication (Parent and Family newsletter), and engagement and community-building opportunities (Family Welcome and Family Weekend), the department strives to make all families feel welcome and included in the Brown community and supported as partners in their student’s success.

The Residential Operations and Occupancy Management Team supports the student residential experience by managing housing assignments, coordinating housing processes, and overseeing residential buildings. In partnership with Facilities Management, they contribute to the physical safety, environmental conditions, and maintenance of the residence halls, managing 1.9 million square feet of campus living space.
