Student Accessibility Services Awards

Student Awards

Student Accessibility Services recognizes students who exemplify the best in advocating and enhancing accessibility through the Catherine J. Axe Advocacy and Odyssey awards.

The SAS Student Advocacy Award

The SAS Student Advocacy Award is given annually to a student who has demonstrated strong self-advocacy skills or who has effectively advocated for greater awareness and understanding of students with disabilities.

The SAS Odyssey Award

Students registered with Student Accessibility Services are eligible for the SAS Odyssey Award, which recognizes a student who has taken a longer-than-typical path toward graduation but has persisted.

Nominations

Students are nominated by staff members in Student Accessibility Services; there is no nomination form. SAS awards for faculty and staff can be found here. For more information or questions, contact sas@brown.edu.
