Student Awards

Student Accessibility Services recognizes students who exemplify the best in advocating and enhancing accessibility through the Catherine J. Axe Advocacy and Odyssey awards.

The SAS Catherine J. Axe Advocacy Award

Students registered with Student Accessibility Services are eligible for the SAS Catherine J. Axe Advocacy Award, which focuses on advocacy for oneself or others. 

The SAS Odyssey Award

Students registered with Student Accessibility Services are eligible for the SAS Odyssey Award, which recognizes a student who has taken a longer-than-typical path toward graduation but has persisted. 

Nominations

Students are nominated by staff members in Student Accessibility Services; there is no nomination form. SAS awards for faculty and staff can be found here. For more information or questions, contact sas@brown.edu.
