Student Awards

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) recognizes students who exemplify a culture of inclusion, diversity, and the best in enhancing accessibility at Brown through the SAS Student Advocacy and Odyssey awards. We encourage nominations from the Brown community for the following awards:

The SAS Student Advocacy Award

The SAS Student Advocacy Award is given annually to a student who has demonstrated strong self-advocacy skills or who has effectively advocated for greater awareness and understanding of students with disabilities.

The SAS Odyssey Award

The SAS Odyssey Award is given annually to a student who, in their Brown journey, has demonstrated dedication, determination, and perseverance in the pursuit of achieving a Brown University education.

The nomination form will be posted in Spring 2026. We welcome nominations from the Brown community for these awards. SAS awards for faculty and staff can be found here. For more information or questions, contact sas@brown.edu or visit the SAS website.
